Other Mold Types

- Trichoderma- It is a mold that grows on wet surfaces like damp carpet and wallpaper. Like Stachybotrys, Trichoderma produces mycotoxins that can cause similar health issues, and many people are allergic to it.
- Ulocladium-This one requires a lot of water to thrive. Therefore, it is frequently found in properties that have severe flooding and water damage. Many people are also allergic to this type of mold.
- Aureobasidium-As mentioned earlier, this mold is usually found in bathrooms and is black and pink in color. It grows on wallpaper and both painted and wooden surfaces. A lot of people are allergic to Aureobasidium.
